What did I do?
The Samsung Gear lineup offers a flexibility for running web applications on the devices through usage of the Tizen SDK. Mastering these tools, I was responsible for creating the app and mapping out API calls to UX based features in the watch UI and hardware buttons.

Create an application by which users could manipulate their Nest Learning Thermostat via watch face and app UX.

I leaned into the design similarities of the two devices to create an intuitive experience, successfully bringing thermostat functionality to users wrists.

The Nest app for Samsung Gear was launched in the Google Play Store, where Nest and Samsung Gear owners could access it.
